Another tooth in Tooth Fairy Land

Mimi-mac lost another tooth.  This time, so as not to forget (again) to put the $1 under her pillow, mommy/daddy tooth fairy gave her the $1 right away.  This helped in easing the moment, since it came out while standing in line at Costco.

Our Personal Cook

Falafel...delicious
Mini Apple Cake...yum
Tomato Cucumber Salad..refreshing

Jazzy recently began attending a Healthy Cooking Class in Benicia.  She absolutely loves it!  She even has a couple of "cooking battle scars" to prove it.  Here are a few of the dishes she made along with teacher and other students.

Our Heavenly Father

"The LORD is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; but (F)He will by no means clear the guilty, (G)visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generations."  Numbers 14:18

I was reminded and then encouraged by this verse.  As I look at my own life and as I witness the lives of others, I am grateful for my heavenly Father's patient dealings with me/us.  He truly does not give us what we deserve, instead His great and abundant love compels Him to forgive our sins.  And yet, He is righteous when His holiness and hatred for sin compels Him to be just and discipline His children for their own good.

We have a righteous, patient, loving, just, and holy God.  It only makes sense to trust Him and abide in Him.

A Warm Winter Day

It was an unusually warm winter day.  What a time to go for a stroll down our local rural area.  The whole Tran clan, along w/ our good ol' dog, Oreo, packed up some snacks, wore our comfy shoes and went up Old Green Valley Rd.  Of course, I took our camera along and snapped a few pics of the fam.  You'll notice the expressions on the children's faces change from excitement to fatigue in a matter of 45 min.  Thankfully, we passed by a bench, where the children relaxed, snacked, and re-energized, before heading back.  The 2 little ones took turns getting a piggy back ride from dad.  Lucky!
