Jewelry Making!

A couple of years ago, a friend taught me how to make jewelry, mostly earrings.  It was a fun and inexpensive way to have new customized jewelry for myself and for friends.  Well, being a mommy and wifey, it's hard to indulge in this slightly time consuming, but super FUN endeavor. 

School's done!  Guess what I did?  I fancied some earrings at a store that cost WAY too much.  So, I decided to make one similar to it and it cost a fraction of the price.

(Plus, a good friend got a couple of pairs in the process)

For the past 2 years, Timmy has been a part of the Fairfield Pacific Baseball League.  He enjoys playing immensely.  You could tell by the big smile on his face.  Yesterday was this years last game of the season.  We were all set to cheer for him and let him know how proud we are of him.

Homeschool Highlights!

The past month has been filled with homeschool fun.  The girls were able to participate in a Spelling Bee set up by a dear sister and homeschooling mom.  It was a great way to challenge the children to learn and at the same time participate in a structured, yet relaxed setting.  What a blessing!

Also more recently, they were able to go on a field trip to Chevy's Restaurant.  They got to tour the kitchen, where all the "happenin" stuff happens.  They even got free food!  Always a plus!

Being a future homeschool guy, Offie was able to partake in the yummy treat!  Can you tell he enjoyed it?
