Thankful that my kiddies enjoy cuddling on the couch while reading.  Precious times!

Day #6 ~ Thankful

Late entry, but still thankful.

Thankful #6 ~ Soooo glad that after two days of confusion, the light turned on, and the Binary System became clear.  Thank you, Love, for patiently explaining it!

Thankful Day# 5

Hubster surprised the kiddies with an  Xbox 360 Kinect!  Enjoyed playing last night.  Tay & I had a hard time giving the kids a turn...lol

Day #4 ~ Thankful

Thankful for the Perfect Love bestowed on us by God, in Christ.  There is no fear of judgment or condemnation for those who are in Christ!!!

Day #3 of Choosing to be Thankful

Tuesday~ so we needed an appt. for Offie because he had been running a temp for 2.5 days.  I called for an appt. this morning and their system was down.  Can't make appts.  We drove to the clinic anyway, hoping they'll have an opening.  Meanwhile, the kids and I kept praying for God to make a way for Offie to be seen.  (His ears were really hurting).  We get there and was told that "system still down."  I was just about to leave when the receptionist said, "wait a minut, I think it's starting up!".  Well, we got in to see the dr. 5 minutes later.

Praise the Lord!  Absolutely nothing happens by chance.  We have a sovereign, loving God, who knows what His children need.

Choosing to be THANKFUL!

1 Thessalonians 5:18
"give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

In spite of what my day brings, I want to remain thankful; whether there's spilled milk, children issues, my own issues.  So, this week, each day, I would like to share one thing I'm thankful for.

Sunday:  Met a Christian family @ In N Out Burger, of all places.  The parents were both homeschooled and graciously shared their experiences.  It was a sweet, unexpected blessing to end our evening meeting fellow believers!

Monday:  My honey was off!!!  Need I say more?

Impromptu Nature Walk

It was a gorgeous Sunday; so we decided on a whim to do some sort of outdoor activity.  We landed in American Canyon of all places.  Deep in the undeveloped  areas of that city, we found  a gold mine of adventure. 

The kids were able to put their Botany lessons to use by examining the different plants there; Tay and the kids had fun bird watching; they got to pick old glass/ceramic pieces brought in by the tide, while Tim and I stayed back and ate our snacks. (heehee)
As a perk, we all got to exercise and enjoy God's beautiful creation!
